The Mercedes-Benz Metris comes in two basic body styles, taking the form of either an 8-seat Passenger Van or a Cargo Van. The Cargo Van eliminates the rear side windows while increasing the maximum payload, while the Passenger Van offers three rows of seating for up to eight people. Both vans are powered by a fuel efficient 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that makes 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed automatic transmission. The Metris is capable of towing up to 5,000 pounds, with a payload of 2,500 pounds. The Metris starts out simply equipped with 17" steel wheels, manual mirrors, dual sliding rear doors, a USB and Bluetooth-equipped radio, remote keyless entry and air conditioning.
